Terms & Cancellation Policy

Last updated: 29 September 2026

These terms apply to bookings made on hiewa.in for stays, trails and experiences run by Hiewa Stays and Trails at Vanjangi Hills, Andhra Pradesh. By paying an advance, you agree to them.

Advance payment

  • A booking is confirmed once the advance is paid by UPI and we have received it.
  • The advance amount is shown before you pay. The balance is paid at the property on arrival (stays) or on the day (trails and experiences).
  • All prices are in Indian Rupees and inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
  • Please pay only the exact amount shown, to the UPI ID shown on the payment screen.

Cancellation & date changes — stays and trails

  • The advance is non-refundable.
  • You may move your booking to another date once, free of charge, if you tell us at least 48 hours before check-in or the trek start. The new date is subject to availability.
  • Changes requested less than 48 hours before, and no-shows, forfeit the advance.
  • To change a date, contact us by phone or WhatsApp with your name and booking date.

Cancellation — events & retreats

Events and retreats follow the policy shown on each event's page. Unless that page says otherwise: free cancellation up to 48 hours before the event, 50% refund for cancellations 24–48 hours before, and no refund for no-shows.

Weather & safety

If we cancel or reschedule because of unsafe weather or conditions outside our control, you can move your booking to another date, or receive a full refund of the advance.

At the property & on the trail

  • Please carry a valid government photo ID for every adult guest.
  • Follow the instructions of our staff and trek leaders, especially on trails.
  • Tell us about any medical condition that could affect your safety on a trek.
  • We may refuse or end a stay or trek for unsafe or disruptive behaviour, without refund.
  • Please leave no trace — carry back what you carry in.
